When Dona Alice took to the stove of the Restaurante Porto in 1984, cooking true Portuguese dishes with real devotion, word spread quickly. Alongside her passion for cooking, the whole family pitched in – and guests were drawn into a warm, almost private atmosphere.
Nothing about that has changed. Today the Vasconcelos family takes hospitality literally in its third generation – so guests are never just guests, but often become friends.
